D.A.V.I.D. is a fast, advanced learning medical A.I. Providing visual investigation of X-Ray and Photographic images.

Working incredibly fast D.A.V.I.D. looks at the entire image. Viewing the image from almost 7 Billion perspectives D.A.V.I.D. assesses images looking for pathology just like a skilled human would. This means that D.A.V.I.D. can interpret live video, images and medical imaging in any format.

D.A.V.I.D does this by applied analysis to images dividing the image into regions and predicts bounding boxes and probabilities for each region. These bounding boxes are weighted by predicted probabilities.

D.A.V.I.D. has several advantages over typical classifier systems that just compare with multiple other images without actual machine learning. Our system looks at the whole image at test time so its predictions are informed by the global context of the whole image. This makes D.A.V.I.D. extremely accurate.

Rather than comparing to other images D.A.V.I.D. makes predictions based on machine learning and uses an individual and unique network for evaluation. Other systems require 1000’s of these for a single image. 

This makes D.A.V.I.D. extremely fast. In fact more than 1000 X faster than R-CNN and 100 X faster than Fast R-CNN so results are fast and fit with veterinary workflow avoiding prolonged anaesthesia and wasted surgical time.
