How D.A.V.I.D. looks at images and X-rays

D.A.V.I.D. is an advanced medical AI that uses machine learning to quickly analyze X-Ray and photographic images. Unlike typical classifier systems, D.A.V.I.D. looks at the whole image at test time, allowing for informed predictions based on global context and making it extremely accurate.

D.A.V.I.D. applies image analysis by dividing the image into regions, predicting bounding boxes and probabilities for each region, and weighting these boxes accordingly. With its unique evaluation network, D.A.V.I.D. can interpret live video, images, and medical imaging in any format.

Compared to other systems that require thousands of networks for a single image, D.A.V.I.D. is extremely fast, more than 1000 times faster than R-CNN and 100 times faster than Fast R-CNN. This speed fits with veterinary workflow, avoiding prolonged anesthesia and wasted surgical time.
